Christmas crib in shape of a blue alcove made of boilered cardboard, hand-painted resin and gilding made with leaf imitating gold. Crib topped by a gilt metal glory. Jesus' figurine is removable and can be put, if needed, only on the right day of the Nativity.

This Christmas crib represent in an alcove Jesus' Nativity characters : Jesus, Marie, Joseph, Gaspar, Melchior Balthazar the Three Kings and a sheep. Since the 13th century, crib tradition grew with figurines in catholic christian countries and particularly in Italy. Today Christmas cribs are still used nd considered as a main ornament item for Christmas decoration.
